Any kind of change is fabulous.
It provides the opportunity for growth, variety and adventure.
At the same time it impacts the status quo.
Like a pebble thrown into a pond, the things that were running so smoothly before are disrupted, by change.
It’s A Ripple Effect
Whether you start a new job, move houses, exit a relationship, or enter a new one.
Change in one part of your life cannot help but affect the others.
You love the new job, but the hours are different, so you no longer have the opportunity to go to yoga I your lunch break.
You new relationship is amazing, and you’re doing cool stuff together, but now you’ve lost 3 nights a week to work on your business after your job finishes.
Change Is the Ebb And Flow Of Life
Without the pebble of change, the pond stays still.
And over times, can become stagnant. Festering.
Change is good.
Is creates a shift, and allows us to mix thing sup.
It allows us to re-evaluate and re-arrange what is and is not going to work with this now change.
It allows us to let more thing go, and create space for more “new.” More change.
The ripple effect of one change is the possibility for even more change, growth, variety and adventure.
Embrace The Opportunity Of Change
Welcome it, along with the possibilities it creates.
When you are aware of the changes that you are creating in your life, you have control.
When you start the new job, be aware of the impacts.
When there’s no yoga studio nearby to fill you lunch breaks, what will you now do in that lunch hour that serves you?
What’s the alternative for your yoga classes? Will you let it just slip away, or will you consciously re-arrange your life to make that happen?
When two nights a week are now spent in that new relationship, how will you create the time and space to work on your business? Do you get up 2 hours earlier? Will you now invest one day a weekend?
What Commitments Do You Make To You?
What do you do to really look at your priorities?
Do you know what are the most important things to YOU?
And are you living to them?
Are you letting change dictate your life?
Unconsciously moving through the day with no awareness of how you truly want to live?
Or are you staying stagnant, without creating change or ripples of opportunity?
Are you living a life be default, struggling to stay afloat, in fear of the unknown?
Or are you in control of every thing you create, and joyfully riding the waves of change?
Change is What You Make It
The unknown of change can be a wonderful, exciting experience.
Or, a scary ride.
How you approach change is up to you.
Do you want to live a life full of new and different and growth, variety and adventure? Ride the waves to new places?
Or, do you want to stay still, and live in a stagnant pond?
It’s up to you.
And it depends on…
What’s Most Important To You?
So what is most important to you?
What are the 10 most important things in your life?
Your work, family, friends, time to read, time to run?
However big or small, what are the things that YOU truly love?
Write them down.
And then, seriously, write down how you’ve spent your time in the last week.
Onside each hour of each day and how you spent it and what you did. Write it down.
And then, truthfully honestly calculate how many hours you spent on the things that are important to you?
And how many hours on the stuff that you feel you “have” to do, or “should” do.
Do Some Thing Have To Change?
Do some thing shave to go?
The things that are wasting time, are somebody else’s goals and agendas?
The things that just aren’t moving you to where you want to go? That aren’t brining you joy and happiness?
How easy would it be to let them go. To stop them.
And create the space to fill with something else.
Something that serves you, excites you inspires you?
It really is all within your control.
Change is your choice.
What one little pebble of change can you drop today and start the flow?
